Alex Shaw

I nominate my son Alex Shaw.

He had a prenatal stroke. So he is a hemiplegic.

Alex only started walking at the age of 8. The right side of his body is spastic . That complicates walking and his motor function.

Alex started Archery 2 years ago. The first year was very tough, mentally and fiscally.  His coach ( Willlem Jacobs) did not give up on him.

This year Alex was selected for the 2019 NASP Mpumalanga Team at the NASP SA Interprovincial Championships .

The tip for any archer is never give up! Where there is a will there is a way. With practice comes commitment and perfection.
